Series production of the Mercedes-Benz 350SL Roadster began in April 1971 at the Sindelfingen plant. The roadster offered here was completed on October 25, 1971 and delivered to the USA. It is therefore a very early model and highly interesting for collectors. It was registered to the first owner in January 1972 and remained in the USA all these years. The car was imported to Germany from the rural community of Sutherlin in Oregon/USA with a population of about 7,000, only about 1 hour away from Winchester Bay on the North Pacific. The condition of the car is very original, the indestructible MB-Tex interior in olive green (166) is still in very good condition, the paint was obviously renewed years ago. The overall condition of the car is most pleasing, the underbody has been dry ice blasted and is in clean and tidy condition. The engine runs powerful and smooth, the transmission was recently overhauled by our specialists and shifts as you would expect from a Mercedes. An all-around great 107 that is sure to impress with its powerful V8 engine and a particularly stylish color combination. Get in and experience it for yourself.
